Work with Me
I have made an extensive questionnaire to insure that I understand your vision and to help me bring it to life with your session. Please be sure to fill it out so there is no miscommunication.
Getting ready
To ensure we have a successful session, I’ve made this detailed page to get you ready. Please read my FAQ thoroughly before booking your portraits.
On this page you will also find location suggestions, ideas for what to wear, and how to best prepare to look and feel your best.
What to Wear and What to Avoid
Avoid small thin black and white stripes. The camera and computer does not like it and it creates an optical illusion and makes looks like the lines are moving.
Avoid anything ill-fitting. If your clothes are too big or too small overall or in a certain area it will affect how you feel about the final result.
Avoid anything that you have to consistently adjust. Such as a strapless dress for women or loose pants that you have to continually pull up. It’s a worry that I don’t want you to be distracted with.
Avoid logos, such as a hoodie with a big NorthFace logo on the front. They are very distracting and draw the eyes to the logo instead of to you.
All of these things considered, wear whatever you are comfortable in. If you aren’t comfortable it will generally be seen on camera.
